The team have been informed by the FAA we wont be approved to allow Rappeling at this event. As they Govern the Airways They informed Freedom Aviation of this and than us the Team of this decision. we have asked about a adjustment to Fast Roping and will keep you informed.

(I believe it is because we would be the first for event purposes of this nature and the amount of Training prior to participation. We would have to begin a Training class weeks Prior to do so of all participants even from 50ft in the Air)

THERE WILL BE STILL INSERTIONS INTO POINTS ON THE FIELD. AND EXTRACTIONS....... by player Participants This has been approved and allowed by the FAA. And we will work to make sure all that desire to get a opportunity to flu and be apart of it will do so.

I again apoligize. If you signed up just to be able to Rappel off a Helicopter I ddply apoligize and will assit you in refunding your money if you desire not to participate in this event. For those that have contacted me to sign up for Rappelig from it. We will be still offering the Training class at 3pm as mentioned to all wishing to do the insertions and extractions.

We apoligize, Initially it was a go but I believe the FAA was contacted about concerns from some.

It's OK! I have never rappelled from a helo, and it took me a week long class to learn how to rappel down a mountain. The fact that you have secured a chopper for the OP is BA! Keep on truckin.

I am still down for the helo ride. Fast roping would be a blast!

I think it is totally awesome the amount of work and dedication that is being put into this event. My job just went down (temperarily I hope) and I am just concerned about getting called out on my normal days off. I really do appreciate the effort by all to make this event one of those "I cant miss this one". So thank you to all involved in this, and hope to see you there. With or without the helicopter, it is going to be "one he-- of a ride".
